Friend of mine went looking for the few remaining prawns this evening and found this. We're both cant work out what it is (maybe a juvenile of something). Anyone got a clue?
Just out of interest was it found over sand or stones/rocks? I found a load this year up in Norfolk on a sandy beach with a couple of stones, well out of it's preferred habitat and it was strange too see so many of them (must have seen 10 in one pool at low tide and there were probably a lot more.)
Was around chalk reef rockpools so from the link it looks like its normal habitat, good one to add to list - thought i knew most things down there but never come across one in 25 odd years!
