I need a rod for primarily fishing for pollack, wrasse and maybe some bass. I'm fairly new to lure fishing so I have a budget of £50 but could stretch to 60.

I'd like it to be 8-9ft with a casting weight of roughly 10-40grams.

Angus the Savage Gear Bushwhacker fits your specs with the 8 footer 10-40g out of the model range. Tacklebargains have the rod advertised at £59.99. Think they are having a closing down sale. Cracking rod for the money and plenty on here use them including me! Will handle wrasse and pollack no bother.

Angus the shimano is built on a white blank. How a rod looks might matter to you.
Didnt spot the Bushwhacker Kev highlighted. Hell of a rod!
Mat. Are you a Jehova's Witness? I understand they believe in "vengeance" almost as much as you do.................
