well i finally got the time to do a bit of plugging today..i caught a 3lber and lost 2 fish one of them was a stonk..the sls17 was the lure i used..they were taken close to the top due to the heavy swell not letting the lure down..the fish i did land was taken in the cappucino foam under
my feet..sometimes it amazes me how they can find the lure in such poor visibilty...i hope to go out again on sat...hopefully i will get on the bass..

cheers guys,
yep it looks good for the weekend bob...a little bit of southerly would do us no harm...to be honest the seas have been too calm
in west cork...i have fished and blanked more times than i care to remeber on flat calms..i know you will have a better chance in the estuarys
but majority of my plugging is done in very rough ground and its like clock work when the wind whips from the south straight
away the fish are there...fingers crossed for a few fish this wknd...take care all.
