Good conditions this morning told me i needed to get on my local estuary, so up at 4.30am to arrive on mark at 5am to fish the flood, The water was crystal clear on this mark and wind was only 5mph. only my second cast ,i was into a fish on the patchinko, brief fight just over a 1lb but a start, 5.30 am i was into a better fish a superb fight ensued but nowhere to go i brought the bass to shore a fish of 2lb 80z and 48cm in superb condition, quickly released !!the water was getting to deep here, so i moved 300yds further up the mark to fish over 3feet of water, on with the sammy casting over ,i was into 3rd fish another excellent scrap!! fish weighed 2lb 30z 43cm, i noticed as i was playing fish to shallows it was being followed by another bass of similar size probably his mate, released fish and on with the z claw.

Two more bass caught on the surface at 1lb 80z and 1lb 4oz, Not massive fish but a good morning to be on the river blackwater. Pictures to follow guys.
