No photos today but out on the high and a small tide, after a lot of work found 4 fish all on the same reef biggest 4 lbs whilst the other 3 were just over 2lbs. All caught on redgills again

Forgot to say that the redgills were fished as slowly as possible with a gentle lift of the rod to impart more movement. It seemed that the slower the better. Also if you get a bite that did not connect by stopping to reel in resulted in further bites

When Alan/**** mentioned the red gill in a post at the start of the season I was quick to test them out.I cant express how well they work but also cheap as chips.In fact I have no hard lures in my tackle anymore but thats just my own approach.
