I've not seen many lures that are copper coloured.
Its a colour I use to good effect for salmon and sea trout on spate rivers with both fly and spinner.
It often gets a reaction when all else has failed, especially in heavy, coloured water (spinning) and just as the colour drops out (fly) so, my thinking is that the bass might well like it too.
Obviously there are plenty of orange and gold based lures but a 'real copper' colour has that something about it that gives me confidence.
Of course there is always the Toby but the marks I have in mind would mean losing a lure a cast so shallow divers would be order of the day.
