Supposed to be a cross between two of my favourite lures, the Komomo and the Sasuke....looks more like the new IMA iBorn (which I've caught on). Anybody tried one? Depth wise it appears to swim between the Komomo and Sasuke but has a smaller profile.

That's a lot of bases to cover Trevor.
Oh for the days when a J11, J13, a couple of Tobies, a couple of Red Gills and a jointed thunder stick sent you down the beach sorted.......
Inverse relationship between the number of fish in the sea, and the number of different lures you need?........

sorry Martin , just a bit of a light hearted dig at the manufacturers who have resorted to mixing two of their lures together to prise your wallets open...lol.....................

will keep it more serious from now on :)

BTW ive payed the guy for the comp trophies and given him your address so they should be on their way to you soon !

Ha ha that's fine Trevor, I'm actually a bit suspicious of it, I didn't want to blow £20 on a lure that's a bit like a crap komomo and sasuke mixed together...hence the original question. I rarely buy hard lures these days.

Thanks again regarding the trophies mate, top job!

Maybe they will be like dogs and the crossbreeds might have a better temperament. These lures might even become as popular as the Labradoodle. For example I've always found Zonks great fish catchers but very aggressive.

You don't need to try it, just buy it, then sell it BNIB in a couple of months. Some of the classified prices on here, you'll probably make a profit!

If I can make a profit maybe I'll just buy one and put it straight on classifieds £££

    Hi Martin,

They're ok but no game changer* IMHO - seem to fish best for me with a bit of small swell running over a shallow reef as they dig down a bit more than a Komono.

*based on half a dozen early season outings and a haul of sub 3lb schoolies.

Perhaps worth investing in one for a particularly suitable mark but not one I would put in my top half dozen that I carry to cover the bases. They are quite pretty though!

I caught a bunch of yellow-tail barracuda on Kosuke a couple weeks ago. I was using the red-headed one. The cudas were just as happy hitting (and eventually destroying) the Sasuke 120 as well though!
