Remember fishing (Bait) with my mate Norman and his son (6' 8'' -- 25stone). We got hit by a something -- don't know what to call it. I know this will sound odd, but it was dark, but it got very black all of a sudden and there was this undirectional wind that was picking Norman (11stone) and me (13stone) up off the floor, including our tripods and rods whilst we were hanging on to them. We were rescued by Normans son.

Bloody odd.

In the Hurricane in 87(?) my dad had a brand new Alaska 500 sitting on tyres in the garden. In the middle of the night he got up and it was airborne by a couple of feet and straining at the ropes tying it down to the concrete blocks around it. Apparently my mum said "Why don't you go out and tighten the ropes then"?"! I can't repeat what he said when he told me that.
