As mad as a March hare, that's how my fishing is at the moment, totally mad.

Tonight's short session produced two hook ups.

The first was Jerry, hooked in the ear again.

The second hook up was this young lady at 63cm & in much better condition than the sea trout from last evenings session, so a good 6lb plus fish.

You will be pleased to know that I'm having a rest for a few days, as my reports must be boring the pants off you by now.

Kin'el Nige!! Beautiful fish that mate.
Is that a press bait fusion that it's taken a shine to ?

Tom the lure is a Savage Gear Seeker ISP spoon on its first outing with me today.

I have a theory that smart fish....sea trout, bass etc, get used to seeing the same lure & don't take it.

I went through eight regular lures & different colours with no joy, until I put this new lure on. Less than ten casts in & hey presto.

Bill I don't usually measure them or weigh them, it's just that Kevin has asked me about the length recently, so I have been doing it.

PB wise I'm not sure, I would guess that these recent two fish are up there around the PB mark.

There are sea trout around our coast that make these look tiny though.
