Out today with Derek Buesnel, a bit choppy but the water fairly clear, The day started off well with 3 fish of around 2.5 lb mark on the first drift All fish taken on Jersey wonder lures. Moving onto a different reef it became apparent that the white coloured Jersey wonder was fishing a lot better than a green and white one.

I think we had about 8 fish on this reef all all about the same size,We ended up with 20 fish the biggest only around 3.5lbs some were caught on swim senko worms but the majority were on our homemade lures. We also found fish feeding at a different area and the gulls were feeding but the fish we could see on the surface were not interested in anything we threw at them.

I hope the weekend stays fair although we will not be fishing this area tomorrow
