Thought we may go out and have another go at caching bass despite the constant rain this morning We headed South East and Derek had his first fish near to Icho Tower a fish of around 3lb followed by another similar sized fish this time caught on a senko worm

We moved onto another reef that was just uncovering and took 9 bass and about 12 decent pollack in a short period of time these fish ranged between 3.5lbs and 2 lbs and most were caught on Jersey Wonder Lure

Just before low tide we moved on again to another area some birds were working the area it was not long before we had fish again to add to our total a further 27 bass came to the boat including a 6.5lb fish to me a 6lb fish to Derek . One at around the 5lb mark some around the 4lb and then progressively smaller. The fishing was hectic for about an hour and then they were gone.

The birds had disappeared so 39 Bass for the day was not a bad result considering most were over the 2.5lb mark

Although it does not look it this fish was 6.5lbs caught on a Jersey Wonder

Derek with his 6lb fish

a fish of around 5lbs being measured
