Im going to turkey .and will be trying some shore fishing. I have a 9ft slam rampage 2 .4pc travel rod.25g-45g. 5000 real with 10lb line. Because I live inland I've had trouble finding a fishing shop that sells sea fishing tackle. Due to not having time for a postal delivery.ive bought some 7.5g and 10g soft lures. Will these be too light. Any advice thanks

Sorry my rod is 20g-45g. Would my solution be to try and get heavier Jig heads. Or add weight to lures some how. I also have 28g walleye metal spinners. But I want to get into using lures.
Anybody's advice would be grateful .

Holiday in the Mediterranean, my experience is that really small LRF type soft lures and metals catches, but going bigger tends to get nothing! Your rod is too heavy to work the tiny stuff, so take some floats and size 10/8 hooks to fish bread flake for mullet. Holidays are about catching, not blanking with the "right tactics"...……...
