Hi guys

We managed to get off for an early one on our boat from Gorey. We tried a few different spots before setting up a drift using feathers (bottom 2 hooks baited with razorfish). Not very hrf/lurelike, but the fish Karen had, I think makes it worthy of a photo or two here.

We'd already had several bream, mostly around 27cm (all released) when Karen swung this one aboard,

We were both suprised with the area it came from, and this must surely prove that it wouldn't be impossible to catch one from the shore on an sp.

My youngest lad (Martin) had his tonsils out on Wednesday, but agreed to come with us on the boat, even though it was a 5am start as long as he could sleep while we were out there. Great time to be out there, as all the usual nutters with the high powered stuff, that cut you up and disturb your fishing were still in bed.
