Well I know we talked about customising plugs earlier in the year.
But I have recently had a go,
Took a chartreuse heedon spook jnr, cleaned it off, glued the brass ball weight solid, and put a single glass bead in each side. Result same spook action, but with a much lighter quieter rattle.
A quick respray in what I am calling retro mackerel, a few coats of varnish later......

about 1 gram heavier than before, but swims better (to my eye anyway) will see if/how it catches over the next few weeks.
So who else has modded a plug??

Stripes stripes and more stripes.
Well for Pike anyway,,,,,,,,,,,works well and I know it makes a difference (profile in the water etc).
I just use a black marker pen.

Didn't have to open it up, a couple of small holes, which were then sealed, then the varnish. the flash is internal, the colours external.

No, I would love to adapt a plug, but can't seem to find the time.
