Won a brand spanking new one on ebay from the states for £95! Including postage it has cost me £124.

Arrived today, no VAT or handling fee paid so far... wonder if I'll get a bill in the post later??? Who cares!

Very smooth reel, I love it so far, it's gonna look sweet with my supermix and some red powerpro

No spare spool but I'm pretty sure I don't need one with all my other reels.

I feel guilty though, under £125 for this reel is criminal but i'm sure the guilt will wear off once I start using it.

He put $150 on the customs doc for value, I'm sure I should get a bill for the VAT at least no customs duty as it's under the £125 allowance.

I would have expected them to ask for payment of VAT before delivery though?? Came via UPS so no silly royal mail £8 "handling fee" rip off.

Postage was $35.45 but he only charged me $35. Item was won for $140.

I paid $175 for the auction in total including postage through paypal which when charged in £'s worked out at £124 and a few pence.

Bargain me thinks so far, might get a bill for VAT but that's not much extra if I do.
