Have you ever used the following lure? I liked the work on it and wonder the material thats used to cover the little needlefish. Polyester or plastic would be better?

In Turkey especially blue fish and seabass like to feed on needlefish and I think they feed more on sandeel in UK shores right?

Thats a ballyhoo not a needlefish Id say (has a short upper beak / bill like a ballyhoo by the look of it)

Mighty fine looking lure it is !! nice find

Do you think that 17cm and 28gr would be a problem for casting and giving the required action to this lure?

Not at all Emre. They cast like rockets and look great in the water! - or the standard 17cm Shoerline Shiner's do! They'll be the same internally. Best 17cm lure going if you ask me!
