I was wondering if anyone has noticed any patterns in their LRF catches?
For me hard on the bottom seems to produce Pout, especially on curly tails and paddle tails.
Mid water seems to produce Whiting and Pollack especailly on the smaller lures, Swung on the drop tactics having the edge with the Whiting, and jigging seems to score better with pollack.
And a lure fish very close (2") to sturcture produced my sea scorpion.

So anyone getting similar results, or getting different results?

On the very little lrf experiences i have has the structure seem right mate i had a couple, and bottom produces pouting. A mark i fish on the rare occassion will produce good pollock and whitting.
Ptreey much the same though i have fished it properly with the right gear yet all in good time.

I must admit, I don't think I've caught enough species yet to draw conclusions. Pollock near structure, generally at about mid-depth so far. Had a few off the top as well Scorpion fish on the bottom. Plymouth next week may help a bit... :D
