Sorry for the rubbish picture but you get the drift I hope, the motor was £2ish on eBay and the peice of angle was lying about in the workshop.. It's about 4RPM on 240v and works a treat albeit slightly crude!! I pushed a peice of soft plastic tube onto the motor shaft and then either tape the end of the blank to the tube or if I'm in luck simply push the blank into the tube..
If anyone is interested search for microwave turntable motor or synchronous motor on eBay...
