Hi all, out agen today with the soft stuff, not quite LRF/HRF more light /heavy pier fishing. Arived at Wicklow pier 2 hours befour hight tide, wind north witch made the sea farley choppy. I fished the full length of the back of the pier and had one wrasse and a pollock as the wind picked up i moved inside the pier and picked another wreass. Great fun.

Well done sam your getting plenty of fishing in, Wicklow pier is a good spot for it good mix of species.

When i bught the rod it had the notch cut out of the handel, it is very sensitive and sends the messages wright to your finger. The rod is a Shimano Compre 6ft.

Hi sam i have had a few bass the last few days thank god but if the wind could turn south or southwest the fishing will really come alive. If your ever down give me a shout im always out and about.How have you been keeping I think the last time I was talking to you was years ago up in kilcoole in a u16/u21 leinster league.
