Took my son out for a couple of hours to a mark at low tide yesterday. It's been blinding here in the past during late august and once again it produced a bass practically every cast on tide minnows at its shallowest and sidewinder paddle tails for the early part of the flood. We hooked 10 between us, swapping the use of the rod so i could help him out. Lost a couple too. The conditions were fairly rough and the landing wasn't easy for a newbie but he did really well! The biggest was nearing the 4lb mark with the majority around 2 and half pounds.
