Not sure if these have been discussed before, I came across these on the infamous auction site - Item No 290351094492, and was wondering if any of you had any experience or opinion on them

Appreciate any feedback - thanks

I am looking to buy a pair of fish grips but would like to part with no more than £30 ( I have a son that regularly loses my gear), I have read on this forum some different types that are available and Lewisman has a weighing scale incorporated in his, but they are all out of my price range. Are these ones available in the UK and at what price ?

Hi Tunny, yeah I've got one bud', and i've landed fish over 5lb with it no problem, also i haven't found any rust or corrosion on any of the metal parts, so all in all i am really happy with it,

i just give it a rinse under fresh water when i get home and give it a squirt of WD40.. and drop a bit of oil onto the shaft and moving parts every so often..

Have just ordered one Marc, will tell you all what they are like when it arrives. This has been purchased for my son Adam so would still like to know what others are available for less that £30 :bangin:

Hi - Thought i would update - after much deliberation I decided to buy these on the infamous auction site

They took about 10 days to arrive from Thailand, on arrival they were as expected, build and material quality seems pretty good, they come with a 50lb / 23kg scale which is handy. Totla cost including shipping £16.50

I will let you know how they fair up as the year progresses, but at that price if I only get a season out of them I wont complain.

For anyone who is interested here is the link

I don't think you'll be disappointed Steve, all you've got to do now is get out and christen them... :D :D :D :horsesword:[/quote:1kx87lok]

Was out with Adam down and on Mumbles light house yesterday afternoon, no fish around, water was coloured like soup. Good bonding session with the boy though :jump:
