Well I know we tend to use abbreviations in alot of our posts. Which is great for those members that understand, but for our newer members I thought we should list the more commonly used abbreviations and what they mean.
SP = soft plastic lure
LRF = Light Rock Fish, a style of fishing for small fish with light tackle targetting species like pollack, whitting, pout etc
HRF = Hard Rock Fish, a scaled up version of LRF, targetting species like Wrasse, larger pollack, bass etc
PE = A japanese unit of measure used for all lines, but particularly used for braids
WTD = Walk the Dog, a style of retrieve used mainly with surface lures, to create a side to side motion
OTD = On the drop, a technique used in LRF fishing
HP/HB = Hard Plastic/Hard Baits this refers to plugs, spoons, basically anything that isn't a soft plastic
This is a start, any other abbreviations please post them here and I will post an explaination.
