Lads,
I found a bag full of lines I purchased in the states a couple of years back.
Would you recommend putting any of these onto my twinpower or certate (spare spools)

- Spiderwire Stealth Braid 300yards of 10lb Moss Green
- Berkley Trilene Ironsilk 330 yards of 8lb .28mm Green (this is super polymer mono)
- Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon 250 yards of 10lb .28mm

Or should I stick to the latest stuff (main spools currently loaded with Powershot and PowerPro)

Cheers
Colm

I would stick with what you have on your current spools Colm.

It should be ok if its been kept in the dark. If its only on spare spools why not make use of it as a back up, better than wasting it IMO

The braid and the fluorocarbon will be just fine. However, I wouldn’t use Vanish as mainline on a spinning reel as it far too springy and tends to come off in horrible coils. Use the Vanish for leaders when light lure fishing.
