Does anybody use fox brush for fly tying?

no i haven't, only tend to use bucktail, squirrel, marabuo, etc when tying jigs, hopefully others will chip in later on.

Yak hair and (hate me) but...
years ago, I got hold of some polar bear hair. It was from culled stock but
seriously fantastic properties.

Bucktail is my main winging and jig material.

What sort of length is the hair ?

It has darker tips right ?

I've used artic fox for Salmon flies .. I've also tied baitfish type patterns with it

Problem is in the salt it tends to matt up pretty quickly

Keith Polar bear is amazing . I got some through a bulk materials buy on Flea Bay
