couple of hours out for low water.looked good and water temp up to 13.these two little uns tried to eat my 28gr dexter
first one a little coalie dont know what the second one is

Well done Peter, the water temp seems to be higher up North, still around 11 in the South West. Great report and pics !

I am sure thats a weaver going by the black fin on it's back.You will know if you get stung by it bud,very very painful so take care next time you get one.

yep 100% Lesser Weever, as already said take care not to get spiked by the dorsal or from the spines on the gill cover!!! Trust me when I say its extremely painfull and the area swells fairly rapidly and seriously hurts as I found out whilst kite-surfing!!!

Incidentally the accepted remedy is to soak the affected area as soon as possible in hot water as the heat destroys the toxic quality of the venom!!
(dont get confused with the cure for jellyfish sting lol)
