Just got back to the sanctity and sanity of this place, had a bit of a family crisis early December which has kept me away from the interweb and have to say wow!!!! I cant believe how much info you guys have been posting, really useful stuff and a fantastic resource. Just going to pour another drink and move to a comfy chair for a good look round and proper catch up.

Hope everyone has been keeping warm and safe in all this weather. Mid Wales has been bonkers, went out this morning to feed the horses and was met with a 6ft wall of snow where the lane normally is.

What’s with all the hedgehogs ?

Had wondered where you had been, so glad to have you back. yes, we also have the 6' walls of snow down here so know what you mean (see my pics one the "it's snowing" thread). Wanted to talk with you soon about finally getting waders organised once the snow has gone and I can get the car out. Sadly all the useful info you & Iestyn shared on the interim forum is lost to me, so when you catch up, maybe you could ping me a PM? How is Jack getting on with the new job in Weymouth?

Thanks Guys, had more of a chance to look around and think its going to take several visits to take everything in.

Tim, great picture and good job your freezer is well stocked, don’t think you will be going anywhere for a few days. I bet George and his sister are happy with the extended holidays though. Jack moved down to Weymouth a couple of weeks ago and is loving the Job, he managed to get a flat right by the marina so I can see that coming in useful later in the year. Once this weather clears I’m hoping to head down even if its only for some casting practice, as you know I need it. Will drop you a pm later with the Fishtec details.

Tom, cheers mate. I thought bringing up kids was tough but bringing up parents is proving to be just as much a challenge, almost business as usual now though.

Simon, no worries I’m just feeling guilty that I haven’t got any money down to you for the hoodies. As soon as the weather clears a bit more I am going to be heading South, probably for some casting practice but will just be good to get out. If the weather doesn’t clear a bite to eat and a pint are in order I think, how about a mini Welsh social one Saturday lunch time?
