Cheers Carl. I sent them an email query for availability.

Let me know when you're coming, Might be wise to book/enquire soon for a summer stay over here unless it's camping.
Andy

I'm planning to come over and share a tent with the dynamic duo. I hope I get the chance to say hello.
You will do Paul. I'll be at the registration and will be there til the end but not sure from when as I will need to get the float tin etc as am working as weighmaster at every weigh so all you need is to catch a fish or come see the boats land their fish at the evening weigh ins and shore anglers at the morning ones (generally). I might even wear my lure forum tee shirt...
Righto all...

It is confirmed I am told form a committee meeting last night. We DEFINITELY have a shore caught lure prize this year. Not sure about boat but there is definitely a shore only lure caught prize in this years festival.

A step forward. yay!!
Here's the full prize list guys:

Just lifted from the brochure. I just got the final copy and lifted the important stuff!! Working on the brochure so you can read it all but it's coming in at over 5MB at the moment. Don't have the software to shrink it here... Full size brochure at http://www.GBASS.co.uk/Festivalbrochure2010fullsize.pdf

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to take £100 off me

That's some serious list of prizes, well done on amassing that lot!
I've sorted the brochure out to a more manageable size which also includes the entry form for anyone coming over to save time at the registration filling one out.

see http://www.gbass.co.uk/Festival.html. The download now comes in at 1.4MB, much better!! (Download free trial of Adobe full program and it's easy!!)
Hi Guys,

I think Paul, Liam and Gaz are making the trip over?

Kicks off next Thursday, in the island a couple of hours and I'm bombarded with stuff to get done...
Won't be coming over this year. I'm still without a car after a couple of lovely Eastern European chaps decided to try and steal it, wrecking the steering column and transmission in the process!

I Forgot to tell the campsite I wasn't going over, they rang me yesterday and weren't too pleased about the short notice!

Gutted to be missing it, but there's always next year!
I won't be coming either.... was going to share with Liam & Gaz but since getting back from hols this week things are a bit upside down to say the least.
Good luck with your festival too Andy etc... Gesture Art Wood Font Thumb

shame I couldn't make the Jersey Boat or this - will plan better next year!

Good luck with it all Andy - sure it will all go swimmingly :D
Well it all kicks off tomorrow evening.

We had the pre-fesitval meeting last night to work out weighing duty rota's (i.e. supporting me as I will be doing all the recording). It can get a bit nuts when the boats come in.

Weather isn't looking great but it's showing force 3's Saturday so I hope the boats will take part. I have a plan to go back to Mark X where I had the 5-11. A mate is heading there tonight to see if the fish are still there. You never know...
Good luck Andy Gesture Art Wood Font Thumb
