I am just getting interested in lure fishing, mainly from the shore, but had a nice 3lb pollack from a boat yesterday on a sand eel soft type weighted lure.

I do a fair bit of fishing in your area when I am on the Lizard... speaking of bumbles and that part of Cornwall, there is a rock on the east side of Lizard point called "Bumble rock" (its near Bass point)...anyone fished it, the ground on the map looks fantastic, and the rip of current on the admiralty chart makes it look even more of a good thing.
