Just a quick post to say hello to all on here. Been registered a while but it's taken a good few weeks of dipping in and out to read all the info on here....so much to take in!

Pretty new to lure fishing, started late last season with zero success so far....hopefully 2010 will be the year! :clap:

Welcome - 2010 will be the year! (dont get frustrated it will all fall into place one day & its easier after that). Theres some great blokes on here - try and get out on a couple of trips with some of the boys - will help you along (we all know how steep the learning curve can be )

Thats ok. We've all been there m8.

This forum is for everyone with a genuine interest in lure fishing. That doesn't mean you have
to be catching tons of fish. Some of the best catching guys are the slow starters too so remember that.

This goes for anyone else who hasn't yet posted. No elitism here. Beginner, old timer, do it different, we want
to hear from ALL of you. Everyone has something to offer. You just might not realise it.

Good luck in 2010 and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Hello bud, as some one said earlier dont get frustrated, the start of the season can be alot of trips and no fish, the bumper times really start from July til october, so dont get too dispondent early season, cos when it happens its the best buzz in the world.

Hi Paul, welcome aboard your going to love it here. For most of last year I too blanked, it was only after posting a message with a cry for help and a week later after meeting up with another forum member (Tim) problem solved. A lot of people talk about confidence and its so true out of the next four sessions I only blanked once. I don’t know what it is and to be honest I don’t want to analyze it too much but things really do click into place and your off.
