Henry ive just seen one of your tv programs (repeat) when you where fly fishing for carp using the `dog biscuit fly` , could you let me know where i can get some of these flys, i fancy trying for some carp looks fun
If you're really lazy you can just superglue an actual dog biscuit to a hook and cast that easily with a fly rod
Not strictly "fly" fishing I know but then tying a "fly" to look like breadflake or dog biscuit is hardly purist either
Later in the year try some naturals like sedge flies or daddy longlegs once they come. You'd be surprised to see these fish eat the naturally occuring food that they should be munching on too, I KNOW...crazy isn't it. Fish eating insects! Whatever next!!!
