Hi - new to the forum: live in La Rocque, Jersey where I run a scruffy little Orkney run about and catch a few bass. Also fish the flood and ebb on foot.
Objective for the year is to get one on the fly. To achieve that I need to remember to take a fly rod with me some time...
Hi jim and welcome, loads of local guy's on here with some really good advice, good forum as well. May see you out in the gutters in my boat. Good luck this season.
Thanks for the warm welcome gents. For those who are local, mine is the scruffy 19 ft red Orkney in La Rocque. Not out as often as I'd like and had a shocker last weekend: 3 of us were there from 7:15am till about 4, right through from Seymour to the harbour in town and back and had not a sniff. Squat. Nothing. Is the water still a bit cold? Not much around?
Cheers - looking forward to getting to know you all.
we've heard on the grape vine it was tonys second bass that morning, he let you have your picture taken with it because you were jumping up and down stamping your feet lol
