These are my latest toys ive done as a test

These are as yet not ready for saltwater as the material i had left is too soft, so i didnt add any other products to them apart from red flake, they are water mellon/red flake, i hopfully will be getting some stronger plastic and then do some more.

Also:

Soft is good. Don't follow the old adage of harder for saltwater because ime, softer gives better, way better bites.

soft plastic
salt to make baits sink
Pirex jug (old one)
wood ice cream sticks for stirring plastic
Microwave ...lol not the new one like i did but there agin i left a metal spoon in the jug she was not happy
colour pigments
glitter
digital thermoniter as the plastic need to be about 350deg
good pair of gloves and eye protection

I do re use old sp`s
Calhoun plastic from the states but i got a lot brought back by some one, im looking to see if they will post to uk, and i get other stuff from tiranti uk which is stronger called t28 and t30 but this stuff does not need heating just add catalizer and pour

It seems that some common types can be re-melted.

a friend of mine is working with silicone, adding substances like colors, salt, glitter etc. can be done also, and you can use it "cold" at room temperature. He made a two piece mould from plaster/cement...

But SoftPVC seems to been used more often, maybe you all like this page...

there very nice i have a POP mould for some slug type its not to bad and the sp does`t stick to the mould, but i lubed it with garlic olive oil for a test the sp smelt of garlic for months till it was smashed by some fish never to be seen again,

hopfully with this new job ill be able to buy plenty of material`s

I would never have thought to use a hot glue gun, rather than the more normal microwave.

its been down for me as well have a look at T28
