Well the christmas pixies brought me a Sakura Koa vest (which is a great bit of kit for the money), and I got a couple of the lure boxes that fit in the front pockets. Great boxes-no more tangled trebles.
But the feed shallow is about the biggest lure that will fit in them. As many on here will know I love my SLD-F 145, and these didn't fit. Yes I know I could stick them in the backpack part, but it means this very lazy angler would have to take the vest off to change lures.
So I searched and searched for a lure box that would fit in pocket, and fit longer lures. Without much success. But I had at bit of a brain-wave.
I have found a box that will fit in pocket, and will not only take 145mm lures but also 175mm as well, each box will take about 10-12 lures, and you can get two in each side of the Sakura Koa vest. Lots and lots of lures.
The make of this lure box????

Video cassette case!!!

Oy Mick.
Gas mask-blimin' cheek

That was a oxygen mask, to help with the climb back out of that mark we all fished. :aarrg:

If someone knows of a similar sized box with NO dividers, I would love to know- my other half will probably want her video boxes back when she find out what I will be using them for :muttley:

MyFish,
Well potential customer, really depends on who the guide is. Yourself or Patrick G or that rotter who beat me in Weymouth aka Mr Stormy  , absolutely. I have zero problems paying to fish with guides that really know what they are doing. Fishing with a good guide is an investment, keep your eyes, ears and mind open, listen to what they tell you to do and why. Used to amaze me how some people will pay for a guide and then NOT listen. A good guide doesn't just point you at the fish, they take the time to explain the hows and why's. That information can be priceless.
But I not afraid to use whatever if it will work, shiny kit is nice, but sometime the basic can useful too.

I am more concerned what was on the original video that you didn't dare get rid of it.......
Are we going to see your selection of Disney favourites each time you go fishing or something more 'mature'?!?!?
