D.A.M. are only engineered in germany, they are made in the fare east like all the other and even VS reels nowadays, afaik!
Anyway, they have some really good reels in their programm.

Only managed to use my Okuma Trio once so far and it is a nice smooth running reel and does throw the braid of it really well but the actual line lay could be better for how they have advertised it but as a general spinning reel it does perform well enough to reccomend it to others for all the price of it and Okum's 5yr warranty is added bonus too.

Would really need to land a few decent wrasse with it to see how it handles.
