Hi all, went out for a few houres fishing today for wrasse and pollock, but when i got to the venue their was a lot of Jellyfish floting in the water. has any one experienced this befour and how did it affect your fishing?

Yep, loads down our neck of the woods too. Little purple ones.

Don't think they will affect fishing, unless you are after sunfish ;o)

Lots of jellyfish around this morning, about the 3-4" in diameter. Didn't seem to bother the bass any though.

Yep, quite a few in the water in S Pembs too this weekend.

Watch out for the Lion's Mane jellyfish this summer. They have been seen in Irish waters and also off Cornwall. The venom in their 5ft trailing tentacles can paralyse and cause death in some cases
