garfish are an acquired taste IMO. Have tried them and I don;t care for them, but they are similar to mackerel, just more bones and the bones are green, which makes it easier to find I guess. The flesh is a darker colour, like mackerel.
It must do. They are one of the only species whose little toothy beaks would stick to that web literally like velcro. It would take a sizable spider and web to make one to hold the larger billfish!
