Leaders and test weight relative to mainline?

Lads,
There was a very comprehensive thread here on braid a while back but what leaders are people using and how important is it?
I used 9kg Amnesia last year attached to .13mm Powerpro using an albright knot. My leader is generally about 2.5ft long and I never have it reeled back inside the top eye. I use my leader to stop the braid snagging in the lure on casting. (which happens too often when I try fishing light braid straight through to lure)

What leaders are people using and what leader to mainline weight ratio is ideal. Also, what lenght leader is recomended and lastly what knot?
Cheers

Personally, I tend to use a 60- 75cm fluorocarbon leader in the same braking strain as the mainline, or add another 5Ib braking strain if I’m fishing very rocky conditions. If at all possible, of course depending on the conditions, I would avoid leaders that are too thick and stiff as I think they hamper some lures inherent action.
