Wind dropped, rain stopped. Didnt stop the fish from biting though. 8 Pollack and 1 Smelt. All were caught casting towards the structures on a new technique no doubt " bradleys remit " The water had a slight tinge to it, and to combat the quick dropping probelm a few sessions ago i went with the Reins Aji meet on a 0.8g decoy jighead.

Cant wait to try these methods on the deep water rock marks in the dark. very soon fingers crossed with the weather.

Nice one Mike, that looks like an Atherine Smelt to me, might be a Sand Smelt. We call them Grasdos and the Gys boys call them Rosslets or something like that.

Smelt similar family member to mackerel? It has those types of moves if you know what I mean, didnt see any great varitation in size they were packed together.

I used to catch loads at gorey Paul, mullet hooks with white cat.

Used to use an 8ft square drop net made by the prof. One drop got enough for live bait and a feed. Attaching the scaffold jib to the railings took a couple of minutes though. ;-):-D:-o
