Has anyone had any experience building their own lure rods, quite fancy having a crack at something cheap to start with, been looking at the mudhole videos on youtube.

Basically thinking of a couple projects to keep the fishing addiction satiated through the colder nights??? And build me a couple of rods for different situations for warmer times.....

Nothing to do with the fact that I keep breaking my rods honest!!!

Had a replacement tip section for my 7ft Bushy last friday from tacklesmart fairplay to them £10.

Took it out to Bosh on Saturday, bout 10th cast it snapped at the eye on the butt section!!! for no apparent reason, lets just say I was glad the lake was deserted!!

Totally agree, luckily I had my 8ft with me too, not that I caught anything!!!
