Lovely Lures Shayne,
Bet the Cod are going to love them. If you get some pics of the cod, would love to see them.

There must be no better feeling than to catch a fish on a lure made by your own hands, great stuff

Only just started playing with weights for another type of lure, these ones thankfully don't need them as I wanted a floating style lure and the action is pretty close to what I wanted. They run with a medium wriggle and small amount of roll for belly flash. Hope to do gloss coats today and fit bibs tomorrow.

It is a good little hobby and can recommend it.

Good read and worth downloading, you will need something like 7-Zip (free ware) to open the compressed .rar file.

New cod design successful

The cod lures worked on the tagging weekend. The river system has had restoration work done to it along with a Murray Cod restocking programme. The guys who where given the lures to trial are tagging and monitoring growth rates. This species can reportedly grow to over a 100lbs in their freshwater habitat, these ones have a few more years ahead of them yet.
