In poor Water Clarity, I know ones with rattles may work, but what about colours, would clear and or dark lures work the best?
Sorry if this subject as been covered, but I was having a think about the subject today considering the weekends conditions

Rattles and or jointed lures, generally dark colours. In fact very similar to the lures I would choose to use at night.
But I would add a couple of lures that are chartreuse or orange or any bright colour.
Strong actions like the Feed Shallow/X Cross also seem to produce more than lures like say a X-120 which has less action.

Like Dave correctly advises, dark lures or lures with rattle, or both are good in coloured water.

But, Bass behave differently in low vis so fish accordingly.
Look for shallow weeded area's where a Bass could come shallow to get light penetration but....

He can still hide.

Work lures much slower than at night even to get the heads up.
