Well what can i say we met we had a great day at porthcawl we even found two lure's Marc lost at the start of the day didn't find my losses though i only lost a leadhead and a one up shad Mark fished hard lure's i stuck with the soft's for the day
Mark had his new toy with him [rod bar] i had my little cormoran [TR4]

So how was our day well mission imposible comes to mind!

visibility was down to about 3" with some quite big swells coming in now and again [we both copped for a few soakings]
at about 2.30 the light started to fade we decided enough was enough and headed off to find a bar on the way home where we talked about our day and some of the old times we had shared in the past it was a great end to a great day out a fish or two would have been nice but to me catching is a bonus anyway

We did have a mishap happen on the way home we were chatting away in the car on the way home and drove straight past Marc's house [did i turn the car round? did i hell Marc had to walk]

A great day out and i can't wait for the next one

cheers all dai

No chance if i can stay out of hospital long enough i'll be out
It was a good day out dai, shame the water was the colour of liquidised terd though, i think we were against it from the start though bud',

next time i think we'll do a bit of "urban" bassing, not the easiest place in the world to land a good fish (without a net) but at least the water is clear, and it was good chewing the fat about the good ol' days, see you again soon mucca,

Glad to hear that the 'Veterans' section managed to get out today !!!!! I went Flattie-Bashing with Marc (i am going spinning), and we managed a few in very tough conditions for bait, never mind lures !!! Marc managed a 45cm Flounder - what a beauty !!! Hopefully he'll pop a pic up ????
Do you want a non lure fishing report?

If so I will spend a few minutes writing my first report in months. ?????????

I'd like one, but then i'm biassed, as i was there, and enjoyed . . . . . plus your Flattie was a monster !!! Deffo big enough to take a lure !!! If we get one more vote from someone who wasnt there, then i say 'write it' !!! Come on lads, one more vote !!!
Well done fellas, good to see you got out and found some fish (even if you were bait bashing).. :D
I vote Yea, with this weather I'm forgetting what a fish looks like... Glad you had a good day, been wondering how you were getting on.
Thanks for the replies, report posted, nice to be able to post a report with details of the mark without fear it will be full of litter and new anglers next time you fish there.

Good to share information with like minded anglers
