Miami is ok but head down into the Keys.

Fish from Robbies or Bud 'N' Mary's in Islamorada.

Loads more available.

Shore fishing is mental too but watch the very, very soft (sand, which isn't actually sand, don't ask) and stingrays. Shuffle your feet.
Bonefishing on the gulf and atlantic sides. Callisto Bay not far from 'Florida Sportsman' is pretty good.

The Canals are full of fish too.

Take a spinning rig but watch you don't hook fish at range. They'll be eaten before you land them and all, ALL your line will get stripped off by HUGE Tarpon, Cuda's and Nancy's.

HRF down there will catch you everything and more. IF shore fishing bait, be fair to the fish and fish heavy. Make sure you can run along the Route 1 roadside when you hook a lunker.
Wedge your feet in m8. I had some BIG shore fish in the Keys.

btw: The sand is white. Not sand, but Parrot Fish Poo. ALL OF IT !!
They eat coral, poo it out, hey voila....sand.

Enjoy.
