Might be of use
I was down in Portland/Weymouth area over the bank holiday, while out plugging for bass in the evening I saw loads of reasonable sized squid, several of which grabbed the lure. Never had a jig with me (will next time).
They were inside the harbour, hope one of the members on here will be nail a few.
