With some trepidation, I have to say. Now I know more. The fisherman whose boat was used - small boat, just potters about on the lobsters and crab - is one of the few Manx speakers left and has a huge knowledge of the coves, rocks, caves etc and I often talk a bit of "The Gaelg" with him. I feel a bit of a fraud but it's the f***kin pot bait bit that's doing my nut in...
