im a bit embarrased with this report but anyway i went out to a pier to give it a go with the sps.i didnt really know what i was doing but got a small pollack on a normal xlayer.it was a nice change and got me out of the house for a while ill definitely be going again.

Nothing wrong with that Pat, I love poppin down the pier for the pollack it keep the winter blues away and keeps your hand in so to speak, fair play for getting out bud.

alan o neill on here told me they used to get a lot of coalies in that spot on small bits of bait so i wouldnt mind get a coalie to add to the sp species list.

Good stuff Pat,

We hit a local pier after dark last week, 3 small pollock on the xlayers.
It gets you out of the house for a coupls of hours at least.
