My homemade lures

    hello everyone I am from Uruguay, I leave some of the lures I did a while ago, here it is fishing lure one of the most ferocious fish in their attack "El Dorado" (salminus maxillosus) have a huge force and teeth that give fear.

    thank you very much Ray, I'm just learning but I'm pretty happy with the result.
    thank you very much Tim, wood use is usually pine or cedar but I think it can be done with any wood we find at home giving a good treatment before beginning the painting process, I also used poplar is ductile enough to carve.

    Those are good looking lures.
    I wish we had a fish like the Dorado in Europe.
    In videos they appear so agressive, and also look beautiful!

    Michael thanks, indeed is a very energetic and very strong fish, and jumps out of the water are spectacular, it's like watching a gold bar in the river.
    If one day you can visit my country happy I took one of those fish

    Thanks Mark, I appreciate your comment, actually I put a lot of effort to get it right and slowly I'm learning new things that contribute to that look good aesthetically but mainly to swim and fulfill their missions

    I want to know that their artificial paint work and give brightness termination
    I do it with water and acrylic paint to finish, about 3 layers of automotive paint
