I am in the market for a 7ft rod to be used for both SP's and hard plastics. I have one that I have got my eye on, a Supermix 210, but wondered if anybody could help me by giving me a few more options?
I currently use a 8'6" Shukan but its not my cup of tea as I have always used shorter rods for plugging in the past and miss using them.
I don't mind buying 2nd hand if anybody has got a bargain going but am prepared to pay for new if required. Must be 7ft there or thereabouts.
Help would be appreciated.
Cheers Nigel

Nigel, the supermix is a cool rod and just the ticket for what you want (I've just sold mine!). It'll fish the sp's and still deal with the hard plugs ok.

Sorry, but I can't comment on an alternative :bangin:

Thanks Softie. I think my heart is set on it now.

Have a look at one of the Sage lure rods.
They are very fast action (faster than that) and have a very soft tip and are totally designed for saltwater. :)

Well I have done it!
Ordered the Tenryu Supermix 210 from this guy from a small island near France and looking forward to giving it a good working out when it arrives. :jump:
I have had weeks of thinking, dreaming, thinking, practicing, thinking and made my decision.
Must thank **** & Vidar for some great advice and patience in helping me over the last month.

I'd be willing to let my 7'6" Shukan go Nige if you wanted to have a play with it next weekend? It isn't getting much use unfortunately.
