Hi there,

I'm Miguel Carrilho from Protugal. First of all let me appologise for my rude English. If I say some nonsence is probably because of language issues!

Well, let me say something about me. I live in Lisbon, at 5 min from the sea, and Tejo estuary. I am fishing with lures for just about an year, but I have fished in the past in the traditional ways. Now I fish mainly fore Sea Bass, and I also like to fish Makerel and other predator species. One that I am persuing now is Corvina in the estuary (I believe that´s the same name in English) with soft lures.

This year I am going to start fishing also in freshwater for Bass.

Concerning materials, I like to fish with my Sakura Shukan 9'6'' with a Stratic FC. I also have other rods, but the one which I'm enjoyng the most is a Casting rod and reel (Quantum KVD 6'6'' MH with a Shimano Curado 201E7). I am attempting to catch one Corvina with 10 or 15kg with this set up.

For finallize let me just tell you that I also do Surf, I have good friends living in London, and I have been in England several times.

Now it's time to try to learn something with you guys.

Thank you for receiving me.

p.s.: if you can please visit PcA (www.pescacomamostras.com) which other good forum from Portugal.

Cheers

Miguel and I fish a lot of times together.

I took the photograph in his avatar eheh.

You will like it around here mate, these use almost the same techiques that we use, and have light rock fishing which seems like a blast of fun to have.

I wonder what will happen if we start to do some LRF in our deep water marks...

Gilthead bream and white bream?...eheheh

Translating to portuguese: Vamos apanhar uns doradões e uns sargalhões com umas caninhas muita maricas eheheh!

Let's rock!

Welcome Miguel, great first post!

Don't worry about you're English: it's a lot better than a lot of native English speakers!!!

I've been fancying a trip to Portugal for some time now, especially Lisbon. A Lure Forum bumble sounds like a class idea!
