Managed another short, short session today. Same place as yesterday, but the swell has dropped and the fish had moved. Still managed to find 2 though. The first on the Jackson Athlete again (only about a pound and a half) and the second on the little suspending (it really does!) OSP Asura. The water is pretty clear here at the moment so I thought that the small bait may be worth a try. Turns out a chucky 3 pounder took a liking to it on the first cast. Love fishing small baits. They look amazing when you get them moving.

Mid twitch really Keith. Don't know whether you've tried one yet but although they do have a nice action on a steady retrieve, they're better twitched and paused all the way in, I think. I've not caught too much on it yet (although both times I've tried it I have caught on it), but I like it with a kind of twitch, twitch, plause..... twitch, twitch, pause... Looks lovely - and this one nailed it just as it started moving again.

Yeah. The rocks on the left go out to a point. It is insane down there on proper low tides with a sun in the sky. Like you say, proper prehistoric - massive caves, massive boulders, crazy cliff faces, total peace and quiet.

LOL, definitely on fire mate! Although hard to tell exactly how hot it is when I'm just out fishing on my own all the time with no other pluggers keen enough to try. Their loss, but someone more capable might be making my few fish look stupid. Perhaps the Cornwall round of the series should be held down here next Dec/Jan?? :muhu:
